Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city that is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash spent her childhood boating and fishing alongside her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister . Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather came into the United States from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. Even though Nash loved sports since she was a child, she always thought she would become a news reporter. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. In 2009 she received her degree from Clemson University with a master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's Baseball and Soccer teams, she had been awarded an all-sports scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, has appeared on multiple shows which include Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights show. She also serves as an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. In March of 2015, she joined the MLB Network. She also began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015. It was during the time that the NHL Network's day-to-day operations were housed at the MLB Network headquarters.
